A new receiver clock model to enhance BDS-3 real-time PPP time transfer with the PPP-B2b service

Abstract A new Precise Point Positioning (PPP) service, called the PPP-B2b has been implemented in BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System (BDS-3), which brings opportunities for time transfer. However, solution using traditional PPP method with correction still absorbs some unknown errors and needs reconverging when there exist abnormal data. We developed a receiver clock model to improve transfer correction. The transfers BDS-3, Global (GPS), BDS-3/GPS (Scheme1) are compared corresponding proposed (Scheme2). results show that GPS-only is not recommended because of low accuracy 2 ns. BDS-3 or Scheme1 can realize about 0.2 ns accuracy. When applied, be improved by up 45% 39.8% PPP, respectively. significantly short-term frequency stability 57.4%, but less long-term stability.
